The Farmall board folk say that the tractor my wife is on is clearly an H. The one in the color photo is printed backward, but is either an H or an M. Since we think this is the same tractor from her uncle's farm, we conclude it is an H.
I have gotten many suggestions on the truck, but a couple have suggested a mid 30s International. Since this was taken in a very rural area in Michigan near the Ohio border, I suspect there were not a lot of dealers around. Maybe the Farmall dealer who sold the tractor sold the truck as well.
The bars on the grill do look suspiciously like an add-on. Looking at only the slide, that is why I thought it might have been a Power Wagon. I think the shape of the doors and front fender might give the best clue as to identity.
Thanks for your input. We are still looking through the negatives and slides to see what is there.
