No, this is not a modern photo. It does date from the late 40s or early 50s. It was a Kodachrome slide, and that is a testament to the color stability of that color process.

On the Farmall forum, the consensus is that the tractor is a Farmall M. However, they suspected that I printed the photo backwards because the belt pulley is on the wrong side...which turns out to be true. I scanned below with part of the word Farmall...so I figured out that the scanner reversed the image.

One guy thinks the truck might be a Graham Bros truck, which eventually became Dodge. Another thought Ford. Stewart has also been suggested.

Now the little on this tractor is Jill, my wife.
