Hi Howard, It sounds like your seals are bad. The rear axle seal is just behind the flange on the axle. Check out the seal and the outer nut. If the outer nut is worn or damaged it will need to be replaced. The outer seal with the flange is what keeps the SAE 90 gear oil from getting from the axle housing into the bearings in the hubs.
