1965 Dodge W300 Power Wagon, 1 ton 4x4, fresh and strong 318, 4spd, 4wd works, ex-winch model, DANA 70s w/ 4.88s.
Truck appears to have been partially restored about 10 years ago. It was used at a Airport in NC, likely was stored in a hanger. I found an event form, the truck was shown at a ATHS meet.
Frame is in nice condition, the rear has been bobbed and a very heavy duty hitch plate was installed. Easy to return to stock if desired. It has been sandblasted and repainted.
Cab is in good condition, rockers are good. Has some light rust where the cowl meets the fender top. Under hood is good. Passenger side floor needs repair directly at the mount, maybe 4-6" circle. Factory floor mat appears to have been removed years ago, so the floor is still good. Door bottom corners on inside have light rust.
The engine appears to have been freshly overhauled, as the previous owner stated. Starts right up, does not smoke, and has excellent power. No leaks or drips can be seen. Has a SERT sticker for HD alternator, and other options.
Door latches and locks need attention. Front glass has cracks. Brakes are good, e-brake works.
Running boards are nice, two brackets need a small weld as previous owner removed them. I have a flatbed I can include.
The Michelin tires are worn out. I am in the procees of installing 9x16s on std wheels.
