You gotta love the people that say that and other lines. I think if you make him an offer, he'll let it go even if he has "plans" for it. If he says no, then you politely walk away. The truck will still be sittin gin its same position 5 years from now, but what can you do with a guy that won't sell. Make him a non-insulting offer and he'll let it go for sure.
