I was born in Mt Vernon, Wa. My dad had a photographic studio there in the late 40's and early 50's. It was located right on the river in town. He took a lot of the yearbook pictures for the schools at that time.
I remember when they were building the bridge in town and it caught fire. I suspect it was a welder who did it.
