My '54 is toying with me!!!!

I've had a set of signal stat turn signals on it for months. They've worked great.
But they were supplied power by wiring them to the hot side of an incorrect toggle switch that I didnt need anymore.

I removed the toggle switch and ran the supply wire back to the fuse box (to the exact spot where the toggle switch was originally run).

Now my PW is mad at me. I know this because now the left turn signals flash very quickly and dimly. The right sides dont illuminate at all, though I can hear the flasher unit activating.

OK, so what part of the system did I screw up? Did I fry the plug-in flasher or interupt the ground? All four lights are mounted onto steel, so there must be some source of ground or they would not have originally worked, correct?

I've even tried returning everything to how it was wired originally and still the truck laughs at me.

I'd really like to make peace with the rig again. Any ideas how?

Thanks in advance!
