...ahhhh... that would make sense... the throw (stroke) isn't really affected by the width of the bearing. So what do they do to engines when they're stroked?!? Use whole different cranks and/or rods? I guess that would make sense too. I built a "383" Chevy Small block once; 350 bored .030 over with a 400cid crank (stroked).

It's making more sense now...
