Story problem...

Okay, someone want to do the math for me?

An M-37 leaves Milford heading towards Fairfield at 1:00 traveling at 45 mph, and an Power Wagon leaves Fairfield at 1:15 heading towards Milford at 50mph... NO, wait! That’s not the story problem – this is: If Dana has a 270 c.i.d. 1955 Dodge hemi, and it's bored .040 over and has the crank turned .004 on the rod bearings (yes, you can turn them up to .008 under!)... what does Dana have in displacement?

Not that it really matters, I just was wondering if I now own a... 286.4 (?) Hemi or what!?!?

Thanks gang! (The stopwatch is running! I know someone will answer this – correctly – in a matter of minutes! And, yes, I know it’s bore-size times the stroke, times 8 (cyl) times... the square-root of a telephone pole or something, but I don’t know how to figure it out exactly!)
Dummy Dana
