1947 WDX headlamp bracket info needed

My WDX came with a loose pair of headlamps and sheet steel bases, clearly the wrong base because the holes do not match up. Is the original base a casting or sheet steel? What should the correct WDX headlamps measure? outside dia at the rim? length from bullet tip to face of bucket? Thanks
