the key word would be "Refurbish"
fix the mechanicals, ie Brakes as required
and have some fun
most car/truck "Restorations" end up never done by the one(S) who started it
like the old "Meyers Manx" VW dune buggy kits
maybe 10% ever made it to the road or off road
