Even though it says 5000 pounds, they weigh closer to 6500-7000 pounds. (I had 3 of them) and they are over 90 percent aluminum. Even the axle housings and gear boxes are aluminum. Scrap has been high. Not up on exact prices but if it is around 50 cents those prices are not much higher than scrap value.
