I suggest you talk with the park manager, Bruce Miller (304) 594-1773, directly and ask him what the best option is for you. I'd hate to tell you yes and create any problems for you. Perhaps you could get one of the trailer sites and camp in one of the tent sites right across the road. If not, I'm sure others would share a tent site, as most of the sites hold two tents. You may be better off at Sand Springs (304) 594-2415. It's really close to the park. They are closed for the winter, so I'm not sure they can be reached by phone right now and I don't think they have a website.
I'll try to determine the size of the lot on the state forest across the road from the entrance to the park. I really hope we can work something out so you can join us!
