These axles where Dodge built, with 2 ratios available, 4.89 and 5.83 .
Rebuilding of these differentials should be done by a professional due to special pinion bearing set up.
There are 2 lockers available that I know of ,a Detroit locker and a Lock rite. Both work well.I recomend using a N.O.S. diff. gear kit if using a Lock rite.
I agree with Randy on the speed and braking .
