Paul, The only real areas that weren't perfectly smooth were where he TIG welded the pieces together. To smooth those areas out he runs them through his planishing hammer & it comes out smooth & flat. The welds where he's welded the doghouse to the firewall he just hammer & dollies & pick & files. There's a real art to it. If you watch him you'd think it was super easy...but we know better don't we? Ha Ha!
She's almost finished...tomorrow at noon.
48 hours labour is what it took.
It's a shocking bill but if you want quality it takes skill & time. The money's a lot easier to come by than the skill...know what I mean?
