I'm going to look at an M37 tomorrow, and would like to know if there's anything specific I should look for (or maybe I mean look out for)? Any particular quirks I should know about? I talked to the owner over the phone and he says it's basically stock, still 24v etc. He mentioned that the engine would only run if you held your hand over the top of the carb about halfway. I'm assuming this means it has a plugged jet in the carb... or could a bad fuel pump/restriction in the line cause it to do this? According to the owner it's a '53 with a steel cab. He was just gonna use it to haul garbage and lost interest in it. I figure I can't go too wrong for only $450; then again, don't want to have any nasty surprises either. I used to own (just sold actually) a '46 Dodge 1-1/2 ton flatbed, so I am reasonably familiar with older Dodges...
