I installed a Dakota seat in my '47 WDX. It was the ideal width and made driving the truck much more comfortable. They are bench seats, with or with out head rests.
I cut off the lower part of the front two seat mounts, and attached the seat to the WDX seat box frame with L brackets and bolts.
I paid about $70 at a local truck parts recycler (junk-yard) for the seat.
