Getting them re-arched is the easy solution, I look for a 3/4 ton to sit about 1" clear of the bump stops with the movable shackles vertical, which I think would be the design condition. Any more arch than that and they could go the wrong way which would be worse than useless. Get a new set of bushes and pins too, you lose some height with wear.
