I believe 318's, like the 340's , were externally balanced in 1973-1974.
360's seem to be always externally balanced.
Like I said earlier- he should ask "Mopar Performance" - they built the engines (Chrysler). They were very helpful whenever I had questions - back when they were Direct Connection. BYW: I still have some A-body hi-po parts if anyone is interested.
