I think the car engines had the engine number in the same place as the trucks. Look on the drivers side near the front. Just below the head, there will be a flat section with number stamped in it. If the first numbers are D33 or D34, then it's a 1950 dodge car engine. A slightly lower or higher number, but with a D in front will mean it's a different year. most of these will interchange.
