1950 Dodge flat head six = 230?

I have a line on a 1950 Dodge flat head six which comes out of a sedan. Is this necessarily a 230? Probably? Maybe? Not? My 58 W100 Power Giant has a bent crank and God knows what else. I'm going to rebuild it but would just as soon keep it running and swap a fresh one in. Anyone know 1950 Dodge flat head six variations? Thanks.
