Can someone give me an idea on how much 1943 dodge command car would be on todays market. The one I'm looking at has been sitting under a walnut tree since 1982. It needs work on the engine and running. I have know idea if it would run, it's going definately need work.the command car is complete with all the parts and extras. The truck has a 230 in-line sixand the eletricals have been converted from six volt system to a twelve volt system. pther than being rather rough the truck is complete and can be restored.
I need to know how much work it would take to put 318 v-8 under the hood. or would it be easier to leave the stock enginein and rebuild it? Does the command car have 2 bench seats or just one? Irear of thruckfloor constructed of wood or metal? and finally can I mount a mu-2 or mu-3 braden winch on the truck(I think all the mechanics are there but i'm not sure).
I am really interested in this truck and am willing to do the repairs on it to get it on the road. I would like to be able to use it for off-road and shows.
