Are you guys saying that such dishonest things do not actually go on at auctions? No one so far has been willing to stand up and address this point. Doug, you & I have already done a bit of business...we both knew what was for sale, the condition, and the shipping and payment terms. We both went away happy with the deal. Why would anyone advise me to risk what goes on at an auction, when it's not necessary? OK, the point about casinos is a good comparison, but most folks who go there see the money spent as entertainment, and if they are wise, they DO set a limit and don't expect to come home with anything to show for it. An auction is not like that in the sense that you expect to come away with a fair purchase. Come on guys, don't tell me that thethings I said are all bunk...we all know they go on.
