Those are like hens teeth. the 3/4 ton started to weld the covers on pretty early after changing to the 9 5/8". If you have or know someone who has a front or rear 9 5/8" housing that is scrap, you can cut the circle weld around the cover, grind the edges, drill the holes and bolt it on. If I have to convert one again, that is what i am going to do. The welded on covers are the same except no holes. I believe the later welded housings in the fifties were not the same. i.e. no dimples for all the stud holes.
