anything can be repaired but the cost of getting it done CORRECTLY may be more than
finding a new/used one
casting repair is a common practice but something that is not to be done by a novice
or DYI person
if i remember from the engineering class on this subject it went like this
strip part down to bare casting, heat in forge (not with torch ) until color matches chart then repair (braze or weld)
then cool down again according to chart
rebore all bearing/bushing surfaces, reassemble
or buy a new one
