Here is what I know. IH DID use the same big six pattern as Dodge, that very possibly is an IH front axle, they used the small knuckle 44s with the big six lug pattern on what they called 3/4 ton trucks. Those front wheels are identical to some on a 3/4 ton IH pickup I have. IH also used the 201-202 transfer cases, I don't know how to tell them apart either. That does appear to be a Dodge rear axle, IH had their own rear axles, they had drop out center sections, but the drop out was a lot shorter than Dodge. Sorry I can't help more. In my opinion, and you know what they say about those, based on the IH lockouts and IH style wheels (did Dodge ever use a non-dished six lug rim like that?) that is a IH front axle.
