Jill, my 315 poly heads were around 700. I doubt you will find reman heads and if you do I doubt they will be cheaper then 500. Most heads with any miles on them probably are going to need work as it seems exhaust valve seats are commonly eroded and valves have sunk. I say bit the bullet and get it done.
