What caused budd to fail on same side is ?

Why did they crack, 10 hole budds are not know for this??? Maybe the water and all the weight is overloading your single axle on those fire calls, you need to run some kind floatations on the front and some 12x24 on the back for more load capacity, water trucks especially with no baffle are bad about overloading springs, hangers frames, water will rush all to one side and put all the weight on it while other is loafing, wonder if that is what happned, or do ya think it was overheating the brakes and the heat from the drums doing it??? Ant sign of a blowout in the fender or under the bed where the oppisite tire might have failed and put all the weight from the high side on it???
