You can get the drip rail bent up and then using a wood block shape the outer(door shape ) yourself. The hard part will be drilling open the spot welds and getting the drip rail into the seam followed by sqeezing it shut and welding it closed.
It is possible to lead on in, you end up filling the gutter somewhat ,but it does keep the water out of the sandwhiched seem.

I cut the strip out of my roof ,so I could weld up the seam. Not a spec of rust on the outside but there was rust in the unpainted seam.
