MIKE i put the motor together, by the bokk, just didn't check every rod, and all the mains, only the first 2rods, and #1& 2 mains, and end play,primed the oil pump before mounting it, then reprimed the whole motor before cranking it, i'll keep everyone posted on the out come, he's coming to listen to it 2/21/05,i'm personally going to get him, he tried telling me on the phone 10w 4o oil will cause this ,taht i should have used 10w 30 , a friend of mine who is a (ford) man don't hold it against him, said he thinks it's because the cam bearings are off, i was hoping someone else may have had a simlar problem, i think this guy is giving me the run around, so as it stands right now i'm the owner of a $1700.00 P.O.S MOTOR for those of you not from the south, that's a PIECE OF SHIT thanks for all the comments, will let you know what happens RICK
