Stellite valves and sodium-filled are mostly used in diesel and alternative fuel vehicles or heavy duty truck. Mostly on the exhaust valves but both valves on the alernative fuel. They use those becouse exhaust temps get high and no luberication from dry gas fuels. For that engine you dont need them but it would be fine to use them.I think both valves on tha were steel. The exhaust could be stainless. A nice up grade would be to have both valves stainless or a stainless intake and stellite exhaust valve.

Hope this helps. Travis
