last 3 digits: 393,387,841 are cast, 457,868,869 are steel. Note that the 340 listing are cast or steel, same numbers used in 318's,pre 76 were steel, 76 up were cast. BUT NO DEFINITIVE 'CAST IRON', different makers used cast STEEL. so differnce may be negligible.
