It is time for me to again sing the praises of the OD after owning one for three years. and using the truck on and off road. It creates no problems other than a small clearance issue. If you were rock crawling. You get 457 for a little over $1000, and you still got youre 583s the rest of the time. You only use the OD on the road why you would consider it off the road is beyond me and the only gear I use it in 95% of the time is 4th but go ahead with youre discussion I will be glad to personally discuss my expieance with anybody considering one and thinking it is not capable on and off the road at 817 937-6580.
