Thank you for the suggestion. That's a great idea for someone who is active in the Dodge Power Wagon market.

Right now, I'm focused on setting up two new projects: the M35 "Coupe" and lockout hubs for the 5-ton military M54 and M8xx series truck, and for the CCKW.

I wish I had known about the possibility of getting involved. That's asssuming that Dennis is interested in growing his business. But as I implied in my first message on this thread, a Google search for Dennan overdrives yields nothing of substance. It's hard to get your foot in the door when you can't find the door.

Maybe Vintage Power Wagons, Helitool, Ouverson Engineering, or Differential Engineering, could help get this project out of the garage, and into the market-place.

There are a lot of things to consider when taking on a project like this. Some of them are product liability insurance, licensing from the OEM to do the adaptation to the PW, providing effective technical support, and - most importantly, but often overlooked - the simple talent of answering emails quickly and effectively.

I have taken four small businesses from infancy to success. The national failure rate is 75%. I don't want to push my luck.

Thanks for the advice.

APB

PS: A huge thanks to "Paul(in NY)" for helping get the M35-K project launched. He has graciously allowed us to put up a page on his site, while we wait for our webmaster to get off his behind and get to work. We have had almost 1000 hits in four days. Amazing!
