I installed a Dennan Overdrive in my 68 Wm300 about 2 years ago. The unit has proved to be trouble free.I do not use my truck for any serious offroading. I haul things, go to the dump, and go on an occasional drive. For me, getting more road speed suited my needs.Installation was pretty easy and does not modify the truck as it is a bolt on kit. I had a spare driveshaft that I had shortened for $40. To address the "no reverse" issue I used a relay running thru my reverse light switch on the transmission to drop the unit out when in reverse. This unit has really made my truck more enjoyable to drive.
