OT locust trees

Hopefully someone is a forester

Have tons of locust trees on my property, many seem to be dying, are they long lived etc. I am claering around them as they seem to be in very dense forest. I was hoping to find a bunch of maple trees to cxompete with paul but only found one (lol)

also did the first drive in the 1950 b2 today did about ten miles ran very good, need to get used to double clutching though. not as bad as my fathers ex highway dept twin stick Mack (1965) i think
