When I was a kid growing up on Molokai`i in Hawai`i. There was a bridge that was big for my standards. was 2 lane. 150' in the air and 500' long(about). they were going to build a fancy concrete one. they took a john deer dozer with 2 rippers and ran down the bridge
ripping the asphalt and wood deck. they then went underneath and ran hundreds of feet of cable around all the uprights. (all wood).
the then hooked it up to a D9. They also cut a lot of the support's with chainsaws. The Cat starts to pull and the bridge moved about 12" and then it just settled back down.
took them another 4 or 5 hours to get it down. Oh what a sight! I wish I took a camera but that was in the olden days...
I sat up on the hill and watched the whole time!

while they were building the new fancy concrete bridge, they had a Cat loader go off the side of the gulch (to the bottom).
it has a dented fender and started back up once upright. it did hit the grove crane and caused 50k in damage ;o(...

Cats Rule!
