We forgot to put never sieze on the torque converter 'Button" that goes into the crank, this got stuck in the crank and took my thrust bearing out. luckily we cut our oil filter every time so we saw lots of bronze material. We pulled engine apart and simply replaced thrust bearing. at end of season had to resurface crank, had many small heat cracks
