A guy has been selling something on ebay that is supposed to isolate the front from the rear if one should lose pressure. According to his write up, you will still have use of the brakes on the working section (either front or rear). It plumbs into a single master system at the front to rear tee. I have not used one and do not know anyone that has. It seems that product liability on something like this would be considerable.
