Don't know if this helps, but mine didn't have an oil filtration system on it when I bought it (48' B-1,and last July). So I looked around a little bit and found a remote mount oil filter setup, and plummed it onto the motor. Now it takes a 1515 Napa gold (same as my '98). However even before that it didn't have great oil pressure when it was hot. 40-50psi when cold, and 10-15psi when hot at idle. The pressure will come up to 40psi when hot, but the RPMs have to be around 2000. That's with the stock gauge and estimating the RPMs. I use SAE30 non- detergent motor oil.
