Keith, the problem is not that they are or are not marked (which they aren't by the way) but the way they are installed in the axle housing. The manual says that the female half of the joint goes on the short(outer) shaft and the male half goes on the long(inner) shaft. Mine were assembled just the opposite of that on both sides. If you have a manual for a "B" series, look at the picture showing the shafts and joint lugs.
Let me know what you think-- apparently it works-- although the bronze bushings were trashed in the outer flange and inner housing end. Don't know if this had anything to do with it.
