It's good to fix the o-rings, otherwise oil will flow around instead of through the filter, but is there some other problem here?Shouldn't those old filters only flow when the oil pressure relief valve sends the excess volume to the filter? Meaning that filter flow should not be a factor in oil pressure within the block? Some poster here has a pic of the valve to show how it works, can he post it?
