Not at all. The Humvee was designed by Chrysler Defense, which was then sold to AMC, then spun of as AMGeneral. It uses a lot of gm parts which are prone to failure, has a high maintenance cost, and serious reliability issues. Putting the military vehicle back at Chrysler were it belongs with a bulletproof Cummins engine, using Dodge and Jeep technology would see a vehicle that will run circles around the gm based Humvee.
