This is my first PW {63 WM300}. While under the truck last night, I noticed that on each side of the frame{inside}about 3 ft back from the cab; there is a 2 foot piece of what looks like a "[" shaped frame inverted into the main frame of the truck. Sorta like creating a box. This piece looks to be original in that it has the large type rivets that are identical to all the rivets on the truck.There is no evidence that the frame was damaged in any way so its not a repair and both sides have it in identical spots. Is this normal for all FFPW's? This truck was a wrecker, so would it have been beefed up in this area from the factory? Sorry if this is one of those dumb questions. Just trying to learn as much as I can about the PW.
