Digger and I have had several Michelins and other tires 'sectioned/ at the Commercial Tire Truck Center in Twin Falls, I have only had two tires they could not fix because the cuts were over 5" long and were too close to the point where the sidewall meets the trad. Nail holes or basically anything under about 3" square on the SIDEWALL they can fix, usually runs around $35-50 for the rapair / vulcanizing..when done you can't tell where the repair was made! these are NOT boots or other 'plug' type repairs! they actually section out the sidewall and refill with composite tire material arund the existing cords!
