I used the POR on my frame. I am rebuilding my truck to drive and have fun with. I choose the POR due to the cost and it fits my need.

For my day job I am a salesman for a custom enclosure manufacturer for generators. We do upper end sound enclosures. We use the PPG painting system when ever we can. We can offer up to five years of 100% protection on a sprayed finish when applied by a authorized PPG painter. The best part is any PPG authorized painter in the world can do the service work no matter where they are located.

As far as powder coating we have searched high and low and all we have found are powder coaters that CAN NOT and will NOT offer anymore than one year of protection.

I guess I would use the sprayed finish if I were going all out. Again for what I am doing the POR is great.
