If you are looking for a neat look then they are a good choice, and they will work hard.

They are all rated as 1 tons at the most, though many people have had little trouble with them when way overloaded.

They were made from 1946-1968 without much change, starting with the WDX model, and ending with the WM300 model.

They were also made for export until 1978.

The 1961-71 W300, W500 might serve your needs better, anything not a Flat Fender made before 1961 is pretty rare, and often weaker then the 61-71 stuff.
