Years ago when I first started working for the Alaska Railroad, I worked out on the track. During the first winter the section I was working with, we had a pull-apart on the bridge over the Tanana river down at Nenana one day. I don't know how cold it was out there on the bridge, but back in Nenana at the section house it was -56. At 56 below it took us a while to get the burn rope lighted. It felt good to get back in the truck that day. Robert
