I replied to your post last nite, but my computer puked on me as I hit the 'send' button, so anyhow, here is your reply:

Sometimes the blade just trips and folds over a little bit, sometimes it folds completely down. Yes, the springs allow the blade to spring back up when it trips. A blade trips because you hit something It keeps you from coming to a sudden stop, and when you come to a sudden stop as in hitting something while plowing, it feels like a head on collision with a brick wall. The impact on the truck and on you is brutal for sure. On some of the old Vee plows, they dont trip when you hit something, and it hurts! I dont know how the new ones are tho. I will be looking forward to the manuals.
