The mighty mite motor lacks the power/torque
to push the heavy snow and ice to either side of the windshield. If someone could find a small hi-torque 12VDC motor that would fit inside the wiper area, purhaps a cast/alum. ,zinc/potmetal , or resine front motor-housing could be made that matched the one on the vac wiper motor (so the existing hardware/wiperarm could be used)and the on/off switch placed accordingly, we'd have the perfect setup! Finding this small hi-torque motor of the correct length is the key as another housing could be made to put the innerds into. I once read about a fellow with a 55?chevy uho found at a auto parts meet, an old aux. 12VDC vac pump made for the very purpass of assisting the vac wipers as it was actuated by a decrease in manifold vac and would cut off when adequite manifold vac picked up again. I hear they are rare.
